Welcome to the new site
May 29th 2008 06:53
Once again (sadly) we've got a two issues to address before the gaming fun can begin
Issue one is a typo...the tournament mentioned in my last post wasn't a gold tournament, it was a GOLF tournament...missed that one in proof reading
Issue two is that in 2 weeks I will be off on a little vacation, so new stuff may either be delayed or non existent.
Okay, that seems to have covered that...anything else? (sounds of rustling papers) nope...okay then, on to the gaming issues at hand.
First off, welcome one and all to gamesbeast.com “Where gamers are the predators and good games are the prey”. Yeah I know, this site isn't much more than a blog and it has a motto...take THAT IGN.com. Didn't know whether to go with that motto or “Home of the Wolf's Den Blog” but the previous one just sounded cooler, so there ya go.
Okay, now what do we have on tap for the next couple weeks here besides my vacation...gotta check my notes.
The Birthday presents and money are starting the new site off with a bang! I got at least 3 games up for review!
PS2 owners...do you hear that? It's a ring bell! You'll be stepping in to the wrestling ring as Fire Pro Wrestling Returns...will the game play make up for the fact that the graphics could have been done on an SNES...find out when I have my review.
PC owners are in for a double dose of SIM games, been playing SimCity Societies since I got it earlier this week...not to mention a slip up from my wife has me all but certain that my Sims will be having four legged friends in The Sims 2: Pets...Will Societies fall to a hunting wolf pack? Will the Alpha Male be the only wolf in the neighborhoods? Now if you want to know, you're just going to have to come back, aren't you?
Still got some B-Day money left as well, it's either going to go towards The Sims: Snap City Carnival, or Total Extreme Warfare 2007. Haven't decided yet. But whichever I do get it, the pack will be ready to see how many will be sent out, and you should be too.
We'll start at the top of this list next week, and by then I should have decided what to do with the rest of the money, so until I post again, thanks for stopping by the Den.
