For my second post (and maybe third post ) here at the Den I would like to mention what many of you people will call recurring features...for those of you who are scratching your heads these are things which if you come to the Den regularly you will get quite used to seeing, and heck, maybe even enjoy. This post will focus mostly on reviews (okay It's all about reviews).
One of the main points of this blog will be to review games, for those of you hiding in your Dens for this long, that means I will tell you flat out, what I like about a game, what I don't like and sometimes, if a sequel is planned (announced or not) what should be done to make it better, basically this Wolf will tell you what he thinks of the game, I know a lot of you out there don't really like a critic. So, take the reviews as you will
For those of you that DO care what I have to say in the matters of gaming along with my advice I will give a Size of the Hunting Pack rating for each review, giving it between 1 and 5 Wolves, here is what each rating stands for
5 Wolves-You are looking at the almost perfect game, NO game is perfect, but these come in pretty close to it...not that there will be many of them...the reason there are 5 Wolves is that this game is a MUST HAVE...not joking here people, I give this rating...you do anything legal that you can to get the game!
4 Wolves-As the song says “So close yet so far away” if the Den sends 4 Wolves out in the Hunting Pack after this game it is still an impressive game worth the cash, it just has 1 or 2 minor flaws in that keeps the Den from sending out the 5th Wolf.
3 Wolves-Heading in the Average Turf now...you like the genre...might be worth checking out, either find the demo of the game or rent it first though.
2 Wolves-Okay, now this is getting bad, only a few decent things make this game even remotely playable and keep it from the next size down
1 Wolf-You spent you money on this?! Oh man do I pity you! If the Den sends out 1 Wolf after this game then it is BAD...seriously...bury this sucker! Run away from it and leave it for the next poor hunting party to get it...there are MUCH better things out there than this game!
